West Byford Primary School is a local intake school.
To enrol your child here at West Byford Primary School you are required to complete an Application for Enrolment Form and email this to West Byford Primary School or alternatively submit to the front office.

If your address doesn’t fall within our local intake area, an application can still be made with placement at the discretion of the Principal. You are still encouraged to apply to your local intake school.
Once we have received this information and the application is accepted by the Principal, we can proceed with the remainder of the enrolment process.

The documents needed for the application process
Proof of Address – Acceptable forms of ID:
- Birth Certificate
- Drivers Licence
- Utility Bill (Gas, water, electricity etc) – Phone bills are not acceptable
- Shire rates notice
- Rental agreement
- If you do not have anything in your address, the homeowner will need to complete a Stat Dec confirming you are residing at their address
- Visa Grant/Passport/Citizenship papers (only applicable when both parents were not born in Australia, to prove permanent residency or citizenship)
For Kindy applications, please be sure to include your preference of days. Our Kindy students attend five days a fortnight. The options available are:
- Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays OR
- Thursday, Friday and alternating Wednesdays OR
- No preference.
Please note, that requesting a specific group does not guarantee a place in that group.
