The School Board comprises of the Principal, staff, parents and community representatives. The group meets regularly and is vital to decision-making processes and determining the direction of the school.
The primary purpose of a school board is to provide strategic governance, vision, and direction for a school by establishing policies, approving budgets, and overseeing the school’s performance in relation to its objectives. While empowering school administrators and staff to manage daily operations, the board sets the big-picture framework and ensures accountability to the school community.
