West Byford Primary School, together with our School Chaplain, are proud to partner with the Fathering Project initiative
Events are held once per term and we love to see as many dads, grandads, and father figures as possible, attending alongside students. Details of each event, including RSVP information, are shared each term.
Research consistently shows schools with strong father involvement programs see a dramatic improvement in student well-being and academic achievement. When fathers participate in school activities, meetings and events, children enjoy school more, are less likely to have behaviour issues and are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities. Children are also more likely to engage more in school and perform better academically.
