Voluntary Contributions and Charges
In Western Australian public schools, voluntary contributions are optional payments to supplement the school’s budget for basic resources and programs.
These funds supplement the basic state funding to purchase resources that enhance all students’ educational programs, including art, technology, science, and physical education equipment.
In Years Kindergarten to Year 6, the maximum voluntary contribution is currently set at $60 per student.
The School Board endorses our Voluntary Contributions. The contribution for 2025 is $40.00 per child for Kindy to Year 6 (this equates to $1.00 per week).
